Often times people want to help others but do not know how. This cannot be any truer than when it comes to helping abused men and boys. The resources sometimes are not apparent and are often difficult to find. Sometimes the resources are hidden or even barred by other groups who wish to polarize the issue. The intent here is to provide those who wish to help male victims with the opportunity to do so. Every month I will post a new link to an organization that provides services for male victims. As the list grows, I will create a page where all the links can be found.
Please remember that you do no have to empty your wallets to help. Even a small donation can go a long way. And for those on the other side of the issue, it would go a long way to demonstrating real concern for all victims if you donated as well.

Legacy Founders FundThe Problem
According to the American Medical Association, “the sexual abuse of boys is common, under-reported, under-recognized, and understated.” In fact, the best research indicates that as many as one in six men has been directly victimized sexually by the age of 16, with one in four reporting either direct of indirect sexual abuse. This is approximately the same as the proportion of men that develop prostate cancer in their lifetime.
- Boys and men often do not report abuse because premature sexual experience (especially with women) is thought to be “sexual initiation” for boys.
- Being identified as a sexual victim makes many boys question their masculinity and/or sexual orientation.
- Not processing sexual abuse experiences can lead to depression, anxiety, severe relational problems, substance abuse, compulsive behavior, and family dysfunction.

I am trying to help out in Danish on my website http://hansside.dk
There are currently some resources there on male victims.
Cool. I tried translating your page in babel fish, but there was not a selection for Danish to English. If it is possible, could you post the links in this thread and I will add them to the resources page I am going to make.
Dear Nice Guy,
We are gathering men’s rights bloggers to allow for worldwide coverage. For an article once a month we will promote your blog heavily. The article just needs to cover men’s rights news in your region, and or, a special narrow issue you feel you are very experienced and interested in though with an international scope.
This is to avoid overlap of our writers all covering the same issues all at the same time. The long term plans are for a serious men’s rights news network. We already have a very large site doing things other people aren’t, but this worldwide coverage will start in November or a little later when we get all the profiles in.
If you are interested in working with over 15 men in 7 countries to get the news to men give us a shout at oct1st2005@yahoo.com
Regardless of what you choose to do keep up the hard work & thanks for your time,
Timocrat

Toysoldier,
What I have on my website is based mostly on the “invisible boy” report from the canadian childrens council.
I that that report linked here. If you come across any organizations, just post them here.
Yes, that is the one.
