Boy offers allegations of sexual abuse at trial — A 12-year-old boy testified Tuesday that Keith Allen Porter often took as many as three baths a day with him and regularly sexually abused him in the bathtub. Porter, a 40-year-old former factory worker from West, is on trial in Waco’s 54th State District Court on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by exposure.
Former Grayslake security officer sentenced in abuse case — A former Grayslake High School security officer was sentenced today to 31 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing 14 minors. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Donald Rager, 41, of Grayslake sexually abused 14 male victims, all minors, in four different states over a two-year period. He met his victims on the Internet.
Ludlow School employee charged with sex abuse — Deborah Kissell, 32, was arrested in her home in Ludlow on Tuesday. Kissell has been charged with indecent solicitation to a child under 17 years of age and aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child, Lozar said. If convicted of these charges, sentencing could be anywhere between probation and seven years in jail, he added.
Mansfield woman accused of raping 8-year-old boy — An indictment accuses a 29-year-old woman of having sexual relations with a boy starting when he was 8. Tammy Williams, of 471 King St., was charged with nine counts of rape, five counts of sexual battery, 10 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and 20 counts of gross sexual imposition.

Trial Begins For Step-Grandmother Accused Of Torturing Boy — The trial for a woman accused of beating, torturing and denying food to her step-grandson for years started Monday, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. Loni Venegas and her husband took in her 6-year-old step-grandson, Jamil Venegas, after his mother was killed in a traffic accident in 2001. Prosecutors said the boy, now 12 years old, lived a hellish life of abuse, was forced to work and was left scarred by beatings Venegas dealt out each time she was angered.

It follows criticism of its treatment of a rape victim who was told he was “too grubby” to be treated. Uncle describes abuse — The uncle of a Warren woman accused of murdering her 2-year-old son said his niece treated the boy poorly compared to her daughter, and at one time hit him so hard he flew and hit his head on a coffee table. Matthew Conklin, uncle of defendant Crystal Conklin, recalled an incident during one of several weeks-long stays at his home by Conklin, her live-in boyfriend and their two children, Angelique “Angel” and Sean, because of money problems.
Yukon man recounts decades-old abuse by babysitter, principal — A 34-year-old man told a Yukon court that he was sexually abused as a child in Whitehorse nearly three decades ago, both by his female babysitter and by his elementary school principal… On the stand Friday, the plaintiff described how the babysitter — then a 12-year-old adopted foster child living in his family’s home — tortured and sexually abused him from the time he was five years old.
