3 Priests Accused of Sexually Abusing Same Boy — Prosecutors have subpoenaed an imprisoned former priest to testify for the government at an upcoming church-abuse trial. Defrocked priest Edward Avery, 70, would be the first admitted priest-pedophile to testify in open court during the 10-year investigation of church abuse within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He pleaded guilty to sexually abusing one boy in 1999, although five other accusers have come forward in recent years.

Elementary school teacher who made sex tape with daughter’s boyfriend, 16, and raped another teen sentenced to 15 years — A former elementary school teacher who admitted raping two teenage boys – one of whom was her daughter’s boyfriend – has been sentenced to 15 years in jail. Michelle McCutchan, 40, from Cecotah, Oklahoma, entered a blind plea to nine out of 29 counts filed against her in May last year. The former Marshall Elementary school fifth grade teacher admitted to one count of rape, three counts of sodomy, one count of child neglect and four counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Former Greer day care worker sentenced to 50 years in sex abuse case — Bethany Miles, prosecutor with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, told jurors Tuesday, “A wolf in sheep’s clothing, that’s what this case is about.” The “wolf,” Ronasha Taylor, sat across the courtroom. Miles said in her closing statements that parents entrusted Taylor with their children’s care. They believed the former day care teacher loved their children. But in October 2010, children alleged Taylor abused them at Kids R Kids day care in Greer.

Prison Rape Scandal Rocks Georgia — The President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili has called the latest prison abuse scandal a “horrific affront to human rights and human dignity,” while referring to the Gldani No. 8 prison abuse video released late on Tuesday night. “I tell all the victims of these inhuman actions and the whole nation that the Georgia we have built and we are all building together shall not and will not tolerate such behavior in its prisons or anywhere else,” Saakashvili said.

Sex abuse victim speaks out — One of the victims of a former church leader convicted of molesting three boys is speaking out. On Friday, Joe Flowers was sentenced to one and a third to four years in state prison. He was sentenced to seven years on Thursday for taking one of the victims across state lines to Florida and abusing him. Flowers is currently in prison for abusing one of the boys from his church. In total, he’ll serve 14 years in prison. The young man that News10NBC spoke with Friday had left Rochester and was in college when he heard people were questioning the story of the nine-year-old victim who came forward last spring.

Woman pleads to sex with 13-year-old boy — A Winslow Township woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to having sex with a 13-year-old boy and photographing the child engaging in oral sex with an 8-year-old girl, state officials announced. Rachael L. Baker, 21, admitted to having sex with the boy three times. She was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault in relation to the incident, the state Attorney Generals Office announced. She faced another count of first-degree sexual assault and second-degree conspiracy and child endangerment charges in the incident involving the 8-year-old girl.

Young male molest victims in China not protected — At least four cases of sexual assaults on men have been reported in the media in the past three months. A crime that leaves victims unprotected. One of the attacks is alleged to have happened 15 years ago in Shanghai, when former students accused a physics teacher from a prestigious high school of sexually assaulting them. Although no legal action was taken by the accusers, the teacher was dismissed.
