It happens every day. In fact, it is pretty hard to avoid it. There are some things that can only be understood with a slap on the forehead. Things so mind-boggling that one wonders how humans managed to evolve thumbs while being this mentally inept. Case in point:
Amanda Marcotte: Senior sexually harassed Miss America by asking her to prom
Here is the lead in from the article about Marcotte’s comments:
Despite being warned by school officials not to, senior Patrick Farves used a visit by Miss America Nina Davuluri to Central York High School to ask her to the prom. Sure, it might have been awkward, but was it sexual harassment? Amanda Marcotte — at one time John Edwards’ blogmaster — says yes.
What follows on the link are a series of tweets by Marcotte and other feminists equating asking someone out on a prom as sexual harassment. Marcotte states that she “really [wishes] people would stop acting like it’s cute when teenage boys sexually harass older women.” That is interesting because I cannot recall Marcotte writing the same thing about girls asking older men out dates.
Marcotte is well-known for her pathological misandry. This rises to a new level of insanity. There is little more that I can say about it because it is so mind-boggling stupid. Simply read the tweets and enjoy.
