New study will research men forced to penetrate by women

Dr Siobhan Weare of Lancaster University’s Law School will head a new study seeking to investigate female-perpetrated rape:

This research project is looking for men in the UK who have been ‘forced to penetrate’ a woman to participate. The term ‘forced to penetrate’ is used to refer to any and all cases where a man engages in penile penetration of a woman without his consent. This could include non-consensual penile penetration of a woman’s vagina, mouth or anus.

This is, to my knowledge, the first study to specifically research this type of assault. Weare asks for people to participate in the online study. It is anonymous and the team allows people to withdraw from the study up to two weeks after completing it.

The survey is limited to UK residents or those assaulted while in the UK, and participants must be at least 18.

I encourage male survivors living in the UK to participate in the study. It will go a long way in helping people understand the scope of female-perpetrated rape.

  2. This hasn’t happened to me, but it came up recently and I honestly don’t know the answer- If a woman has lied about using birth control, with the intention of tricking a man into having sex with her, does that legally count as forced to penetrate?

  4. Good. Hopefully the “social justice” con artists won’t try and take the credit for this when they’ve been trying to prevent this info from getting to light for years.

  5. About bloody time! Sure, the research is limited to residents of the UK but I have a feeling, based on how it goes, we might see it replicated in North America.

No state in the United States uses “forced to penetrate”. However, most states have sexual assault laws that might apply in this instance. I doubt anyone would prosecute the case as sexual assault, let alone rape.

  7. Don’t do a study like this. You are doing it the feminist way and it’s not the right way.
anonymous internet study? Don’t underestimate the trolls.
Phone line studies are no better or college studies.
Go to the psychologists, hide it among a lot of other things and you’ll get a better result.

  8. It’s quite scary to think that up until this point in time, we have not even studied abuse at the hands of over 50% of the population. The denial of male abuse is quite incredible, I just looked up the Victoria Against Violence website and spoke with the ONLY men’s referral service, that’s the one for men who beat their wives and children, there are no others, we aren’t allowed to have a victim support line.

The entire website is bordering on feminist propaganda, here’s a quote

“On Monday 5 December 2016, the Victorian Gender Equality Strategy was launched. The visionary plan sets out a framework to reduce violence against women and deliver gender equality. Every one of us has a role to play and we believe by working together we will achieve generational change!”

So gender equality is a plan work to reduce violence against women, not to bring about gender equality…isn’t equality where we can talk about these things with out identifying the sex of either the perpetrator or the victim, isn’t gender equality where sex is not the focus, but the actions of a person, rather than whether they have an appendage?

Unfortunately our Government has become an abuser of men by marginalising our voice, discrediting our claims and behaving in the exact way that I was abused by my mother. Indeed the current approach can only make the situation worse for women and men.

Let’s call it for what it is, discriminatory abusive behaviour designed to perpetuate and increase divide between men and women.

When feminists wish to stop abuse occurring in our community, they will stop abusing people.
